Twitter’s been pretty good to me but that makes Writer’s Wednesdays and Follow Fridays busy for me. I came up with this idea because well, Twitter is great at a lot of things but there’s always room for improvement. I haven’t seen any real good directory or listing service for Twitter. This is a real problem when you first join and want to just find like minded people who truly share your interests. You might say, why not just click on the twitter home page of each individual. You can always do that, but people want the info in one place where people can compare and contrast. Plus it doesn’t hurt to have what you call “third party verification.” Anyone can write anything on their profile page. I’m going to look at Tweeps I think are genuinely worth the time and effort to contact and follow.
You could describe this as a free copy editing for my personal tribe. But I’m a social type or at least an e-social type. Tweet me if you want a listing. Again it’s free but if you feel like contributing I won’t complain. With enough contributions I might be able to improve the look of this site. I’m a writer not a web page designer.
